For Mexico's Independence Day (September 16th) we learned the Mexican National Anthem. We also colored a big flag, read about Mexico and went to our First Spanish Club Meeting. The kids had so much fun meeting new friends and playing in Spanish. We made tamales the day after since we didn't have time on the 16th. They actually turned out very good. That was my first try at making tamales.
